In February 2016, MPR News aired a lecture I had delivered on the previous Veterans’ Day at the Minnesota Historical Society. You can listen to the lecture here.
____________
Author and history professor John Kinder considers the many experiences of veterans who have been wounded in America’s wars — from World War I to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Kinder, a professor at Oklahoma State University, was a featured speaker at a Nov. 10, 2015, event to mark Veterans Day at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul.
Kinder is author of “Paying With Their Bodies: American War and the Problem of the Disabled Veteran.”
